Life Story Writing Workshop

Want to write YOUR story? YOUR memoir?
Using a new theme each week, you will be inspired to capture your memories through discussion, questions and exercises. Homework is to draft a short story on the theme of the week. At the following class, writers share, discuss and encourage each other to move forward on their own memoirs.

April 22 National Earth Day

Centennial Barn celebrates National Earth Day by inviting you to recycle, restore and reuse in your home and your neighborhood.  Centennial Barn is in itself a recycled structure, having been built as a working barn in 1898.  The building utilizes state of the art lighting and geo-thermal heating and cooling.  Our Community Gardens use composting and sharing abundant crops with others.  We strive to live the words of St. Francis of Assisi: 

 Preach  the gospel at all times and when necessary, use words.

 

Baby Massage Class

In this class, you will learn and experience:

The power of touch:  communicating with your baby through baby massage
The power of self care:  learning mindfulness practices that help you relax 
The power of connection:  meeting other parents, sharing a meaningful time together

Memories in the Making is an interactive program for persons with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia.

TimeSlips is a program providing creative storytelling for individuals with memory loss.

Time for Caregivers is a program for family members or caregivers of individuals participating in the Memories in the Making program.
